Ogopogo Resort now has two new exciting vacation packages
Ogopogo Resort is offering two exciting packages: Dog Sledding by Moonlight and ‘Treat Yourself’ Fun Ladies Getaway to entice travelers in this new vacation market.Ogopogo Resort owner Valentina Itskovich states, “We have been aware for some time now of the changing demographics and the benefits of offering guests value added packages. The first package that Ogopogo Resort offers captures the interest of many that have dreamed of the idea of dog sledding by moonlight. This allows the romantic at heart, or even those who prefer the peace and quiet of a cold evening, an opportunity to enjoy a magical winter night of dog sledding under the stars. This package is a great way to cap off a winter day in Haliburton, and a two-night weekend in a luxury lakeside cottage with moonlight dog sledding is only $665/couple or $695/couple in a Jacuzzi cottage. For those that prefer a mid-week vacation, 2-nights are only $570/couple or $595/couple in a Jacuzzi cottage.

As a result, the second package that Ogopogo Resort offers has an entirely different client base. The ‘Treat Yourself’ Fun Ladies Getaway started December 2 and will continue through March 31. Ogopogo Resort offers the ideal setting to be pampered and enjoy time spent with a group of friends for a weekend or mid-week getaway. This package allows ladies to enjoy taking part in some of Ogopogo’s many winter activities from skating on the lake to cross-country skiing. As Ontario’s vacation trends have changed, the resort owners have realized that blending outdoor recreation with luxurious accommodations and spa treatments are sure to please this new market segment. The ‘Treat Yourself’ Fun Ladies Getaway is available through March 31, 2008 and includes two nights’ accommodation in a spacious luxury three bedroom cottage with fireplace, a one-hour massage or reflexology treatment for each guest, and a gourmet dinner delivered to their cottage on one evening (Saturday or Wednesday). This package is based on a group of 4 ladies for only $235/person/weekend or $214/person/2 nights mid-week.
